Origin: Tunisia.

Extraction Process: Distilled & solvent extraction.

Extraction Description: Obtained by ethanolic extraction of the concrete, itself produced by solvent extraction of the flowers of Citrus Aurantium L. This consists of 2/3 distilled Neroli blossom and 1/3 absolute extracted Neroli blossom. This is because the neat absolute has a harsh note on its own, but softens down well in neroli oil to give an agreeable bouquet.

General Description: Neroli Absolute. Used in perfumery. Helps you to wind down. Beneficial to the skin - stretch marks and mature skin especially. Useful for all skin types especially dry or sensitive skin. Use with mandarin to help stretch marks. Blends well with floral oils especially rose and jasmine. Due to its calming quality, helps with problems of emotional origin.

Properties: Bactericidal, fungicidal, deodorant, moisturising, stress relieving, relaxing, rejuvenating, aphrodisiac.

Perfume Note: Middle.

Extraction Description: By solvents (thus the nice rosy colour). The material prepared by alcohol extraction of the concrete.

Scent Description: Deep rich sweet, rosy-spicy, honey-like fragrance.

General Description: Rose Maroc Absolute. A less costly alternative to Rose Otto. Rejuvenating.Reputation of being an aphrodisiac.

Properties: Uplifting, relaxing, de-stressing.

Species: Rosa damascena.

Origin: Bulgaria.

Extraction Process: Steam distillation.

Perfume Note: Middle.

Extraction Description: Rosa damascena Flower Oil is the volatile oil obtained by steam distillation from the flowers of the Damask Rose, Rosa damascena, Rosaceae. This method of distillation preserves the integrity and aromatherapy properties of the oil.

Scent Description: Rose, Deep rich sweet, rosy-spicy, honey-like fragrance.

General Description: Rose Otto is a lovely oil to add to a base cream or lotion to create a treatment for dry, sensitive and mature skin. It has moisturising and hydrating properties and can help with areas of redness and inflammation. It also has good uplifting and relaxing properties making it suitable for use with a burner or vaporiser. It can help in times of grief, relieve stress, lessen the baby blues and soothe feelings of anger or depression. It has similar actions when blended with a carrier oil for massage. It's particularly nice when blended with Rosehip or Peach Kernal. When used in massage it may also help to boost circulation and calm heart palpitations.

Extraction Description: Extraction of plant material using solvents, which are then carefully distilled off.

Scent Description: Strong, sweetish, warm, herbaceous odour.

General Description: Chamomile Matricaria Absolute. Also known as blue Chamomile/German Chamomile. Properties are even greater than Roman due to higher percentage of azulene. Greatly beneficial to the skin. A must for first aid cabinet. Excellent for massage with children as it soothes and calms. Useful at night and in stressful situations. Hair care tonic especially for fair hair. A gentle oil suitable for the young & fragile. Traditionally used as a muscle relaxant and skin conditioner. Well known for its strong soothing effect on mind & body. The Roman & German are excellent for protecting dry skin.

General Description: Chamomile Roman Essential Oil is a must for the first aid cabinet. It is well known for its strong soothing effect on mind and body. It is excellent for protecting dry skin and is a good hair tonic - especially for fair hair. It's excellent for massage with children as it soothes and calms and can be useful for adults and children alike at night or in stressful situations. Roman Chamomile is a comforting oil during high pollen count (unless you have an allergy to the ragweeds).

Sandalwood Australian Essential Oil Pue Absolute (Undiluted Oil). In a 5ml Amber Glass Dropper Bottle.

Botanical Name: Santalum spicatum.

Country Of Origin: Australia.

Aroma: Soft, woody and a little balsamic.

Extraction Description: Oleoresin extracted by organic solvent and co-distilled to produce the essential oil.

General: Sandalwood Australian is the ethical alternative to the Indian Sandalwood Mysore which is now a protected species. Sandalwood Australian comes mainly from Western Australian from a well managed plantation roughly 3 times the size of France. Sandalwood Australian Essential Oil is nourishing and helpful for the skin as well as in many other ways. When burned or vaporised Sandalwood Australian is thought to have an uplifting effect on the emotions. It may calm nervous tension, stress and act as an insect repellent. It can also be diluted in carrier oil to create a massage treatment. Sandalwood Australian is also thought to have aphrodisiac properties. Being closely related to the Indian Santalum album, it has high levels of active fragrance compounds.

Scent Description: Sweet, delicately fruity scent. Deep, rich, floral aroma.

General Description: Frangipani Absolute is a beautiful oil with a romantic feel. it's extracted from the Frangipani flowers which are worn in the hair in South India and by Polynesian women. In Polynesian culture the flower is worn behind the right ear to indicate that the women is not in a relationship and behind the left ear to signify a commitment, engagement or marriage.
Used in high class perfumery, this rich, heady and exotic oil has a deep expansive quality which encourages a sensual, almost provacative response. In aromotherapy it's thought to restore inner peace and harmony and can be blended in a carrier oil or base cream or lotion when it's anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties make it a lovely oil to use in skin care.

Properties: Exotic, sensual and expansive.

Mimosa Absolute is diluted to 50% because if it was left as 100% it would be a solid mass and therefore unusable as an essential oil.

Origin: India (Diluted in UK).

Extraction Description: Absolute obtained from flowers and twigs by solvent extraction, known as wattle bark.

Scent Description: Aroma is long lasting and has a deep, musky, rich, warm floral type scent. Blends well with virtually anything, but particularly Citrus Oils.

General Description: Mimosa Absolute is a useful oil for use in perfumery and aromatherapy. Its astringent and antiseptic properties make it particularly suitable for oily, sensitive and greasy skin but it is good to use on all skin types. Blend in a base cream or lotion. You can find it in our ready prepared Jasmin, Mimosa and Rosehip Cream. It also contains good relaxing and stress-releasing properties which make it a nice oil to use in massage when diluted in a carrier oil. Mimosa also has good fixative properties so is used in high grade perfumery where it lends a lovely, sweet floral scent with woody undertones.

Properties: Relaxing, astringent and antiseptic.

Extraction Description: The material obtained by solvent (glycerine) extraction of the fresh dried pod of Vanilla planifolia.

Scent Description: Sweet rich balsamic odour. It's sweet aroma makes Vanilla a preferred ingredient in the cosmetics industry

General Description: Vanilla Absolute is a non-toxic oil but is rarely used in aromatherapy. Can be blended with a base cream or lotion when it can have a positive effect on all skin types.
It's mostly used in skin preparations for it's wonderful, sweet aroma. It's also used as a flavouring ingredient in foods, tobacco as well as in perfumery. It's odour can bring a sense of well-being, euphoria, comfort and a feeling of relaxation.

Properties: Curative, calming and euphoric.
