Botanical Name: Commphora myrrha.

Country Of Origin: Somali.

Family Name: Burseraceae.

Aroma: Smoky, gum-like and slightly musky.

General: Myrrh oil is distilled from the resin. It has a sharp, warm balsamic aroma. In Egyptian lore, Myrrh is said to have come from the tears of Horus.

Emotional Profile: In relieving emotional coldness, lack of will, lack of spirit connection, emotional blocks.

Blends Well With: Benzoin, clove, frankincense, galbanum, lavender, patchouli, sandalwood.

Botanical Name: Citrus aurantium.

Country Of Origin: Tunisia / Egypt.

Aroma/Extraction Description: This consists of 2/3 distilled Neroli blossom and 1/3 absolute extracted Neroli blossom. This is because the neat absolute has a harsh note on its own, but softens down well in neroli oil to give an agreeable bouquet.

Extraction Description: Solvent extraction & Distilled.

General: Used in perfumery Relaxing, aphrodisiac, helps to wind down. Bactericidal, fungicidal, deodorant, moisturising, stress reliever.
Blends Well With: with floral oils especially rose and jasmine.
